- Tough restrictions. The selection of free templates isn’t very robust on most websites. You’ll be stuck choosing between a handful of cookie cutter options that don’t suit your brand as well as they could.
- Lack of flexibility. You’ll also be locking yourself into a formula. If you ever want to make adjustments or changes in the future, it’s going to be difficult to break that mold.
What’s the alternative? For most business owners, the best option is to design and build your own website from scratch. It might cost more and take some more time, but the finished result will be more on-brand, more professional, and better capable of supporting your business.
