When you first start your social media marketing campaign, you might struggle with new content ideas, so we’ve come up with a long list to keep you busy.

In social media marketing, creating great, consistent content is the key to success, but content comes in all forms. If you’re having trouble coming up with new ideas for content in your campaign, try some of these ideas:

1.       Blogs. It’s one of the best forms of content you can use. It will boost your SEO efforts onsite, and provide ample links for you to share on social media.

2.       Quizzes and Trivia. Post factoids related to your industry, or have trivia contests that challenge your followers to answer questions.

3.       Surveys. Ask people what their preferences are—it encourages engagement and can also double as a channel for market research.

4.       Infographics. Whip up an interactive image that features statistics about your industry.

5.       Pictures of your workplace. Give your brand a personality by showing off your office, factory, or place of business. People love that visibility!

6.       Humorous content. Make up some of your own jokes, or share a funny article you stumbled upon.

7.       Promotions. Give away a prize, or offer special discounts to your followers.

8.       Quotes. Post inspirational or thought-provoking quotes—just be sure to give proper attribution.

9.       Tips. Post tips or tricks relevant to your company and your audience.

10.   Event fodder. Anytime you go to an event, give your readers eyes and ears into what’s happening.

11.   Short videos. Take a vine of something amusing or important happening in your area.

12.   eBook snippets. If you’ve written an eBook, take quotes from it and post them as a means of generating interest.

13.   Statistics. Post interesting stats—the more recent, the better.

14.   Strong opinions. Post your opinions on a debatable issue—they’ll be sure to get responses.

15.   Feature customers’ content. Make your clients the stars of the show by featuring their content occasionally.
